Opportunity: Board Certified - Physician Assistant

This is a full-time opportunity to join a General Surgery team at Surgical Associates of NW Ohio, providing advanced surgical care in a collaborative environment with access to cutting-edge technology and resources.

Job Details:

• Assist surgeons in the operating room during general surgery procedures
• Round on postoperative patients and manage inpatient consults
• Write daily progress notes and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans
• Conduct physical exams and manage acute surgical and critical care conditions
• Place preoperative orders for scheduled surgical cases
• Evaluate clinic consults and recommend appropriate surgical or endoscopy plans
• Discuss post-operative care plans with patients and their families
• Utilize and interpret imaging modalities such as Ultrasound and CT in patient care
• Answer patient calls and inquiries during regular business hours (Monday - Friday)
• Contribute to a flexible and collaborative surgical practice open to professional growth
• Access to Mayo Clinic Care Network consultations for second opinions

Compensation:
