Critical Care NP New

Location: A suburban community in northeastern Ohio, it is part of the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman Metropolitan Area, and it shares a border with the city of Youngstown. This community is known for being a vibrant suburban area with a mix of residential, commercial, and recreational opportunities. It’s often considered a desirable place to live due to its family-friendly environment, good schools, and proximity to both urban amenities and rural areas.

Facility: Hospital providing a wide range of medical services, including emergency care, surgical procedures, and specialized medical treatments.

Opportunity:

• Pulmonary Critical Care is looking for locum coverage, starting as soon as credentialed, ongoing
• Location needs would be PRN, as vacation/coverage needs emerge.
• Open dates: April 30-May 4**, May 5-8**, May 27-June 1, June 12, June 17, June 30-July 6 and August 4-10
• Practice Setting: The APC will provide critical care coverage and rounding on ICU patients
• No call!
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12-20
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• Will APP be Working Autonomously: Yes
• Supervising Physician Present During Assignment: Supervising Physician on call.
• Training or Experience Required: No
• Procedures: Central lines and arterial lines are a must. Dialysis catheters and Intubations are Strongly encouraged
• Patient Age Demographic: Adult geriatric
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: ~120 days Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
